The chips were an immediate hit, and pretty soon Earl Wise became known as a potato master. A Wise owl was chosen as the company mascot, and the stylized owl eye has been the Wise iconic logo ever since. These are the superb golden chips that started it all, full of the irresistible, honest-to-goodness flavor that could only come from us.
