Five Bean Sour with Barley - This is one of our most popular soups at Coco Pazzo; it gathers more compliments than any other. I add barley, because it gives the soup a thick texture, but a delicate taste. I heartily suggest that you garnish with olive oil and serve with arugula salad and a light red wine. Tuscans like their food salty, except for bread. If you're like me, add salt to this soup to bring out its fullest flavor - Pino Luongo.
