Today it is grown the world over and produces the most popular variety white in the world. In Argentina, the great Andes mountain range leaves its own special imprint on the vineyards, producing dry, hot conditions. The Chardonnay grape is well suited to these conditions which yield generously ripe, fruity wines. The 2000 Mendoza Chardonnay is brightly fruity, with tropical notes complimented by hints of spice and the warmth of vanilla. It is a pleasure from the first sip to last. Alc. 12% by vol.
